Apertures I
£1,393.00
Inspired by the idyllic Shropshire countryside, the gardens of Hodnet Hall and the vineyards of Hencote, just outside the town of Shrewsbury. The window effect was influenced by the stained glass artist Trena Cox, and her work at Holywell Church, hence the title Apertures. The dynamism of the diagonals and the flow of the curved frames create a walk through the flowers and fields, towards the blue remembered hills of A. E. Housman's poem, A Shropshire Lad.
